Responsible AI Technical Strategy
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Responsible AI Engineer with a strong technical background and expertise in AI Fairness, Transparency, Explainability, Robustness, Soundness, and Privacy. Ideally, you have experience applying these principles in a client-facing environment.
As part of the Responsible AI team, you will develop cutting-edge AI solutions while ensuring ethical AI practices. You will collaborate with a team of AI specialists, pushing the boundaries of AI development while ensuring that AI is trustworthy, equitable, and technically sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI models and solutions with a focus on ethical and responsible practices.
- Detect, evaluate, and mitigate AI risks such as bias, fairness, robustness, and explainability.
- Support client sales conversations and provide Responsible AI consulting.
- Optimize and maintain AI systems to enhance performance and adherence to ethical standards.
- Participate in the full AI lifecycle, from data preparation to deployment and support.
- Contribute to internal guidelines, best practices, and technical training on Responsible AI.
- Stay updated on AI trends, ethical considerations, and regulatory advancements.
- Maintain transparent documentation of AI development processes and decision methodologies.
Skill & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions (e.g., Regression, Neural Networks, Tree Ensembles, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision).
- 5+ years of experience in Python and working with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with Responsible AI, including AI risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
- Alternatively, 12+ years of relevant work experience (or 6+ years with an Associate’s degree).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to ethical AI development and continuous learning in the field.
- Strong project management skills in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of emerging AI regulations and standards.
- Experience with Generative AI (prompt engineering, RAG models, fine-tuning, etc.).
- Expertise in designing and implementing AI architectures on cloud platforms.
- Experience with cybersecurity, AI red teaming, and adversarial testing.
- Specialization in an industry domain (Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Financial Services, etc.).
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, etc.).
- Responsible AI certifications (AIPP, etc.).
