Job Description
At UserTesting, we believe that human understanding is the foundation of great experiences. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences that help organizations connect with their audiences. You’ll collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team of Designers, UX Writers, Researchers, Product Managers, Marketers, and Engineers to create seamless digital interfaces that drive product usability and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to translate concepts into functional experiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and Researchers to transform ideas into impactful product features.
- User Research & Testing: Conduct UX research, analyze user feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance the user experience.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present and defend design choices using research, usability principles, and industry best practices.
- Documentation & Handoff: Document design decisions, create detailed functional requirements, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with design trends and best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Skill & Experience
- Experience: Solid experience in UX design, UI design, or product design for digital interfaces in software, digital agencies, or relevant product areas.
- Prototyping & Wireframing: Strong ability to create rapid prototypes and wireframes to visualize concepts effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, FigJam, Framer, Sketch, InVision, or similar platforms.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver refined content under tight deadlines.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to engage with engineers, marketing, customer support, and other stakeholders.
- User-Centered Approach: Passion for human-centered design, with a keen eye for usability and accessibility best practices.
- Adaptability & Feedback-Driven: Open to receiving and integrating feedback from peers and stakeholders to refine designs.
- Language Proficiency: High-level English communication skills (written and spoken) are a must.
