Job Description
As a Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of an organization’s network infrastructure. You will manage network systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all components of the network are operating efficiently. This role requires technical expertise in network management, security, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health of network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software.
- Work with security teams to implement network security measures and prevent breaches.
- Ensure high network availability and uptime by performing regular system checks.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance and implement improvements.
- Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
Skill & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in network engineering or network operations.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and security practices.
- Experience with network management tools and software.
- Certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CompTIA Network+ are highly recommended.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
