As a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience and driving business growth through data-driven experimentation. You will own our CRO experimentation program, leveraging analytics, user research, and customer feedback to optimize digital experiences across product and marketing funnels. As a CRO Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to drive measurable improvements in conversion rates, customer retention, and revenue. You’ll develop and manage a robust A/B testing and personalization strategy, helping to shape Blue Apron’s digital product roadmap and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze user behavior, trends, and key performance metrics to inform growth strategies.
- Experimentation Strategy: Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and other experimentation initiatives to optimize product features and marketing campaigns.
- Optimization Roadmap: Identify growth opportunities across the customer journey—from awareness to retention—and develop a structured roadmap for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing teams to execute test strategies, implement solutions, and improve customer experiences.
- Technical Implementation: Leverage technical expertise to design and deploy experiments, ensuring seamless test execution across platforms.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop and maintain a QA practice to verify test variations before launch, ensuring accurate data collection and test integrity.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor test results, extract key insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations for product and marketing improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders across the organization, driving buy-in for optimization initiatives.
- Tool & Process Development: Work with internal teams to improve testing tools, methodologies, and workflows for more efficient experimentation.
Skill & Experience
- Experience: 3+ years in CRO, user experience design, data science, digital product management, or eCommerce roles focused on insights-driven optimization.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with A/B testing tools like Optimizely, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Contentsquare, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Amplitude.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills, with a focus on quantitative research, experimentation methodologies, and performance measurement.
- Basic Coding Knowledge: Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for implementing tests is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Proactively identifies challenges and seeks creative solutions to enhance UX/UI and conversion rates.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to implement testing initiatives.
