BetterHelp is seeking Remote Counsellors to join our provider network. In this role, you can focus entirely on providing clinical expertise while we take care of everything else – from client acquisition to billing and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and focus 100% on therapy work, while BetterHelp manages client acquisition, billing, and operations.
- Work with specific populations or presenting concerns based on your area of expertise.
- Maintain a strong commitment to privacy and confidentiality, using a secure, encrypted platform for phone, video, and text-based communication.
- Leverage an all-in-one telehealth platform that offers a wide range of clinical tools to enhance your practice.
- Ensure that clients are matched based on your specific expertise and availability, providing them with a variety of ways to connect with you.
Skill & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical counseling experience.
- Licensing & Certification: Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., American Counseling Association, National Association of Social Workers, or state licensure).
- Private & Professional Environment: Ability to maintain a private, professional setting for conducting therapy sessions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Professional Liability Insurance: Must maintain valid professional liability insurance.
- Technology Proficiency: Reliable internet connection and proficiency in using telehealth platforms.
